Power

If your PULSE 500 Series door operator flickers on and off, follow these steps:
  • Ensure that the V+, GM, GS, and COM cables are correctly connected in the junction box and control board.
  • Also make sure that V+, GM, and GS are approximately +24V DC when measured against COM.
  • Additionally, disconnect all peripheral devices such as photo-eyes, activators, door locks, or interlocks, as they could be shorting the control board.
  • If none of these steps work, please contact technical support for further assistance.

Check the power fuse on the junction box:

Check incoming AC voltage:

  • If the fuse is good but there are no voltages, check incoming voltage 120V/240V AC on the drive board.

Measure DC voltage:

  • If the AC power is good, then measure DC voltage across V+ and COM on the drive board.
If there are no voltages on the drive board, then please contact technical support for further assistance.
