"STOPPED! Overcurrent" Message on LCD Screen

If the LCD screen displays the message: “STOPPED! Overcurrent” for your PULSE 500 Series door operator, it indicates that the operator thinks the door is using more current than usual, typically an indication of hitting an obstacle or an unbalanced door. To solve the issue, try the following:
  • First, check that the door’s path and rails are clear of any obstacles.
  • If they are already clear, run a BALANCE CHECK from the ADVANCED MENU to check the door’s balance.
  • If the door is balanced, the ratio between the 2 numbers displayed on the LCD screen under Open and Close should be under 10%.
  • If the door is still overcurrenting, recalibrate the door under the ADVANCED MENU.
  • You can also try to increase the Closing/Opening Force under the ADVANCED MENU.
