Door Not Moving

If the door is not moving for your PULSE 500 Series door operator, try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Check for obstructions and door balance:

  • Ensure the door is unobstructed and properly balanced. Also, verify the door size is compatible with your PULSE door operator as per the installation manual .

Try Jog Mode:

  • If the problem continues, access the STARTUP MENU by holding the stop button for 10 seconds. Use the open or close button to scroll. In STARTUP MENU, select Jog Mode to test door movement.

For older software revisions:

  • If your door operator has an older software version, attempt to run the door on battery backup to see if it operates.

Adjust Open/Close slow speed if necessary:

  • If the door moves in Jog Mode or on battery backup, consider increasing the Open/Close slow speed. Access the ADVANCED MENU by first entering the STARTUP MENU (hold the stop button for 10 seconds), then hold for another 10 seconds to enter ADVANCED MENU for speed adjustments.
