Door Just Opens or Closes When the Power Goes Out to the Operator

When the power goes out to the operator for your PULSE 500 Series model, it automatically enters into battery backup mode.
  • In battery backup mode, only the push button at the front of the control box works.
    Ensure these buttons are not stuck.
  • Another cause could be damaged or stuck relays.
    To fix this, try tapping the battery backup relays located on the bottom left of the control board with the back of a screwdriver to unjam them.
  • If none of these options work, please reach out to technical support for further assistance.
