Door Just Opens or Closes When I Use Battery Backup

If your door just opens or closes when using battery backup for your PULSE 500 Series door operator, follow these steps to address the issue:

Check the push buttons:

  • Ensure the push buttons on the front of the control panel are not stuck.

Inspect the relays:

  • Damaged or stuck relays can also cause this issue.
  • Tap the battery backup relays located on the bottom left of the control board with the back of a screwdriver to unjam them.

Contact technical support:

  • If these steps do not resolve the problem, please contact technical support for further assistance.
