"Door is Open" LCD Message Before Reaching Hard Stop Brackets

If the LCD screen of your PULSE 500 Series door operator displays the message “Door is Open” before reaching the hard stop brackets while resetting the encoder, and the door is properly balanced, it may be due to the weight of the door causing the operator to think it has hit a hard stop, or the door may be snagging.
Ensure that the door’s path is clear, and if that doesn't resolve the issue, increase the Open Slow Speed Setting to High in the Advanced Menu to overcome the weight of the door.
