Features

Whisper-Quiet Operation

Thanks to a modern direct-drive DC motor: The PULSE 200 is available with 3/8 and 1/2 horsepower rated motor options combined with sleek 40:1 or 50:1 gearboxes to ensure optimal strength, speed, and whisper quiet operation for your residential needs.

Works During Blackouts

With the built-in 24V battery backup: In the event of a power interruption, the PULSE 200 features a 24V integrated battery backup. If the power goes out, the door can still be operated by pressing and holding the Open and Close buttons on the control panel. Just jog the door up or down. It’s that simple.

Enhanced Safety

With intelligent force monitoring: If the door hits an obstruction or becomes jammed, the system senses the change in force and stops the opening operation or reverses the closing operation to prevent further damage. This provides an extra level of safety any homeowner can appreciate.

Extend the Life of Your Door

With soft start and soft stop functionality and a door balance check feature: This soft start and soft stop feature offers smooth, controlled acceleration and deceleration of the door and helps prolong the life of its mechanical parts. It also aids in the prevention of cable throw. The distance of both the acceleration and deceleration can be programmed to match the door’s requirements as needed.

Increased Energy Efficiency

With advanced speed control options: The PULSE operators are built to achieve opening speeds of up to 24 inches per second and closing speeds of up to 16 inches per second. This increased speed improves the thermal efficiency of your garage; helping to keep cool air in during the summer and warm air in during the winter.

Works with Third-Party Locking Systems

The PULSE 200 is compatible with most 12V automatic locking systems. Once installed and selected, the operator activates the unlock function before opening and the lock function at full close. Settings for this feature include an adjustable door motion delay from 50 to 500 milliseconds to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Reliable & Precise Encoder

Mounted on the top of the gearbox, the encoder allows for easy, foolproof limit setup and simple left or right side mounting of the operator. It also enables advanced door functionality, including soft start and soft stop, dual open limits, and motion monitoring. If the door stops moving during its cycle, the encoder senses the lack of motion and halts operation to prevent additional damage to the operator or door. The encoder also monitors the position of the door when operating in battery backup mode, eliminating the need to reset the encoder when power returns.

Choose Your Cable Length

The motor on the PULSE 200 comes equipped with a pre-wired five conductor cable for easy connection to the control panel. Select the cable length you need from 10, 15, 20, or 25 feet and insert this length into the door operator model number, replacing “YY”.
